Autostart the Launchpad

To have your computer automatically log in and start Launchpad:

Mac
  1. From the Apple menu, select System Preferences.
  2. Select Users & Groups.
  3. Click the Lock button, then enter your account password. If you aren’t logged in as an administrator, you’re prompted to enter an administrator’s name and password.
  4. From the left column, click Login Options.
  5. Select an account from the Automatic login pop-up menu, then enter the password of that account. The account is now set up to log in automatically when your Mac starts up.
  6. From the left column, click the name of the user account.
  7. Click the Login Items tab.
  8. Click the + sign and select the GroundControl Launchpad.app (usually located in your /Applications folder).
  9. Click the Add button.
  10. Close System Preferences.
Windows
  1. Click Start, type netplwiz, and then press Enter.
  2. In the User Accounts dialog box, click the account you want to automatically log on. If it is available, clear the checkbox Users Must Enter A User Name And Password To Use This Computer.
  3. Click OK.
  4. In the Automatically Log On dialog box, enter the user’s password twice and click OK. The account is now set up to log in automatically when your PC starts up.
  5. In an Explorer window, navigate to C:\Program Files\GroundControl or where you installed the GroundControl Launchpad app.
  6. Right-click GroundControl.exe and click Copy.
    IMPORTANT: You must copy the executable itself, not a shortcut to the executable.
  7. Navigate the Explorer window to shell:startup
